The “Save<\/b>” button stores a new connection or changes an existing one. The “Delete<\/b>” button removes an existing connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Windows verification<\/td>\nCheck this box if Windows login must be used to access the database. If this box is checked, the Username and Password fields will be grayed out.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
ID<\/td>\nThis is the connection number. The minimum is 1 and the maximum is 9999.The number will be generated when creating a new connection but can be changed at will. If you do so, a new connection will be stored.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
User ID<\/td>\nUsername to logon to the Dynamics NAV database.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Password<\/td>\nThe password for the above Username.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Server<\/td>\nThe name or IP address of the SQL Server where the Dynamics NAV database is installed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Database<\/td>\nThe name of the Dynamics NAV database within the above SQL Server.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Tenant<\/td>\nThe tenant of the Dynamics NAV database within the above SQL Server.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Company<\/td>\nThe company name you want to use.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Networktype<\/td>\nThe network type to use when connecting to the SQL Server.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Client<\/td>\nThe folder name where the Dynamics NAV classic client is installed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
