What's new in SmartTrade?

This document display's the history of changes in SmartTrade. Per release is explained which changes have been done.

Releases

Below mentioned releases refer to the SmartTrade version which are shown in extension list of your Business Central environment.

20241126.587- 26-11-2024

Application hotfixes

  • When switching to a different item number in the lot availability page, the values in the lot detail page where not cleared.
  • When exporting an EDI message without an imported quantity, the export resulted in an error message.
  • Importing messages from an azure blob storage that had over 5.000 no did not work.
  • EDI orders that have not only a date, but also a time can now be imported.
  • When the EDI NAD segments where not in the expected sequence, this resulted in a warning that was not correct.
  • When you created a transfer order for sailing goods with different receiving locations on the purchases lines, not all the transfer orders where created.
  • When you changed a lot number on a purchase line, the corresponding item tracking lines where not updated.
  • When the credit limit check was not enabled in the order type, you still would get a message when the credit limit was exceeded.

Productivity enhancements

  • The release status of lots is now available in the availability per lot page.
  • You can now show the availability per lot from the transfer orders
  • Show release status in availability per lot
  • Blocked lots are not counted as available inventory and (if visible) are show in red in the lot availability page.
  • Testgroup field has been added to the lot number card.

Internal app optimization

  • Compatibility issues between versie 24 and 25 fixed.
  • Code restructuring between folders, obsoleted code moved.

Application hotfixes:

  • Value entries without a lot number are updated during the installation of the app file of SmartTrade.
  • Adjustment value entries are now populated with lot number and calculation informations fields during posting.
  • Tracking lines where not updated when you entered a lot number on a purchase line. 
  • Calculation quantity was not captured correctly from the line qauntity.
  • Reading documents from an azure blob storage was not possible if the blob storage contained more than 5.000 files.

Productivity enhancements:

  • Document sorting
    You can now select how documents are sorted when you open purchase or sales documents. You can select default sorting, ascending or descending, based on document date.
    Setup can be done in the SmartTrade setup
  • The new drag & drop page (version 25) is made available on manufacturer card and list pages and on the product specification card and list pages.

 

20241031.583 - 31-10-2024

Productivity enhancements:

  • Support for EDI files that are not separated by a CRLF (Carriage Return Line Feed) after each line is added. Files received in this format can now be processed correctly without requiring additional adjustments. This enhancement improves the flexibility and usability of the Business Central environment for various file formats.

 

20241024.584 – 24-10-2024

Productivity enhancements:

  • External warehouse document number is added to sales order and purchase order for communication purposes with external warehouse
  • Test group code is added to the Lot number information card for information purposes about the quality of the specific lot.

 

20241023.582 – 23-10-2024

Application hotfixes:

  • Lot numbers were not populated to General Ledger entries generated for expected cost after posting a purchase receipt. Installing this new version will also populate the missing Lot numbers to already generated General Ledger entries
  • The calculation of interest in the cost calculation was done over the Direct Unit Cost (FCY), showing the incorrect interest amount
  • When importing EDI orders, the “Load Carrier Required” field was not taken correctly from the customer

Productivity enhancements:

  • In case Variants and Lot numbers are used for the same item, the “SmartTrade Item Lot Availability” page now displays the stock per variant and lot number

 

20241008.585 – 08-10-2024

Application hotfixes:

  • Quantity “Free on inventory” and “Fre for sales” were not showing the correct numbers based on the Availability calculation setting in the SmartTrade setup
  • Incoming quantity on “SmartTrade Item Lot Availability” page was not showing the correct quantity
  • Lot numbers were not populated to General Ledger entries generated for expected cost after posting a purchase receipt
  • Credit limit warnings based on the “Credit Limit Date Interval” setting in the SmartTrade setup were not working correctly
  • When entering the transport time from the port of arrival to the final destination, the expected ETA was used, not the actual departure date. The ETA for the final destination is now transferred to the expected receipt date on the purchase order line."
  • Margin in approval entries was showing a incorrect margin %

Productivity enhancements:

  • New API’s for specific SmartTrade data related to the sales process
  • Additional function in the EDI Setup to schedule the deletion of old EDI messages
  • Event Description on the “SmartTrade Item Lot Availability” page now contains an extended description based location and ETD
  • A new report for waste management per lot number has been added

 

20240902.584 - 02-09-2024

  • Qty on Sales Quote was not visible on the Item list
  • Availability calculation including Qty on Sales Quote
  • Application Area fields not visible on Field Setup List

 

20240831.583 - 31-08-2024

  • Error on Transfer Order from Sailing goods location to final destination
