In this chapter we describe which functionality SmartTrade adds in terms of Item Availability.

Availability page extensions
SmartTrade Item availability adds fields which are of influence of the inventory position to lots of pages. Examples are:
- Item Units of Measure
- Stockkeeping Unit
- Item Card
- Item List
- Item Availability pages
Availability Calculation
To support above fields and make it per Company/Item flexible, SmartTrade has introduced the SmartTrade Availability Calculations.
With this you are able to setup to which horizon the availability calculation needs to take into consideration and which documents are of influence.
Variant / Lot
SmartTrade calculates availability not only on item level but also on Variant and Lot level. On lots of places SmartTrade adds the Variant and Lot code to the pages and availability calculations
